Oxy senior guard Stacie Roshon was named the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for her performance on the court between Nov. 26 and Dec. 8. Roshon averaged 18.7 points per game during three games this week. She poured in 29 points, hitting eight shots from behind the arc, while grabbing six boards and dishing out three assists in the Tigers 77-59 victory over NAIA Menlo College on Saturday evening. She also hit double figures in both other games played, with 17 against Chapman and 10 in limited action against La Sierra. Against LSU she also grabbed seven rebounds and accounted for five assists. In the loss to Chapman Roshon shot 9-11 from the line. Overall this season Roshon is leading the Tigers offense (16.8 ppg) and is shooting 41.9% from three point range. She has 19 assists, 10 steals and 5.2 rebounds per game as well.
