Think Three Stripes: Oxy Agrees to Adidas Sponsorship

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (April 16, 2008) – Image is everything. Occidental College athletics has decided to boost that image by agreeing to a three-year All-Sports Agreement with Adidas.

Tiger student athletes will be wearing and endorsing the Adidas brand through uniforms, footwear, apparel and accessories while in turn Adidas will present performance incentives to athletic teams and student-athletes.

“We are excited to sign on with Adidas,” said Athletic Director Jaime Hoffman following the announcement. “Our student-athletes are important and we want to get the best possible gear we can for them.”

Occidental College has never had a department-wide sponsor before.
