Hitting the Links in 2008

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Jan. 31, 2008) – Eight Tigers will drive, chip and putt their way around the golf course during the upcoming season. Coming back for his senior season is senior captain Aaron Steinberg joined by four additional returnees.  

With six freshmen and sophomore players, the team is young, but heading in the right direction. A year under their belt for sophomores Tom Logan and Richard Highsmith will pay dividends as they have improved their game to compete with best players in the SCIAC. Also returning to the course in 2008 are Alex Safransky and John Morris.

Newcomers to the squad are Nick Schradle, Ryan Ferguson and Tori Leon. Schradle comes in with very good Junior Credentials and should make an immediate impact.

Oxy anticipates their work in the offseason will lead to improvements during SCIAC competition and will likely shoot in the middle of the pack.
