Handful of solid scores on Day 1of SCIAC Tourney

OAK VALLEY — Day 1 at the SCIAC Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships hosted by Pomona-Pitzer at the Oak Valley Golf Club is in the books. Ari Reiger (Mill Valley), Mason Atkins (Newbury Park) and Rammi Hazza (Hercules) all shot a 78 to lead the Occidental College men’s team. The Tigers are in eighth.
