Two Tigers Land on All-SCIAC Teams

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Dec. 1, 2008) – A pair of seniors capped of their collegiate careers with All-SCIAC recognition as Fran Taylor and Griffin Harding were named to the First and Second Teams, respectively.

Taylor, a four year player, started 15 of the 16 games this season. His 11 goals and one assist led the Tigers (23 points). He fired off 51 shots for a .216 shooting percentage and was accurate 56.9% of the time on his shots on goal (29).

Earning Second Team honors in 2008 was Harding who started 13 of 15 games. His defensive leadership was crucial for the Tigers and he also recorded an assist adding 12 shots, five on goal during the season.

Oxy finished their 2008 campaign 6-9-2 overall with a 6-7-1 SCIAC mark, which left them in sixth place in the conference standings.
