Oxy Soccer Stays Hot, Routs Caltech

LOS ANGELESEthan Glass scored four goals and Morgan Bennett-Smith added two as the Occidental men's soccer team kept its hot streak alive with a 10-1 win over Caltech at Jack Kemp Stadium on Saturday.

Ryan Wilson, Tod Kawada and Elijah Remy all recorded a goal and an assist. Connal Dennison had a goal and Liam Walsh also tallied an assist.

After an 0-3 start to the SCIAC season, the Tigers have righted the ship, winning their fourth game out of their last five, while improving to 5-5-1 overall and 4-4 in SCIAC play.

The Tiger have outscored opponents 22-3 during that stretch and could jump up to as high as fourth place in the SCIAC standings after Saturday's results.

Oxy is trying to make the four-team SCIAC Postseason Tournament for the third year in a row. 

Next Game: The Tigers are back in action at Cal Lutheran on Monday at 7 p.m.
