Kleinsasser Earns First SCIAC Athlete of the Week Honor

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Sept. 10, 2008) – In his first week of college competition Eric Kleinsasser got the attention of people around the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference as he was voted the SCIAC Athlete of the Week for the time frame between Sept. 1-7.

At the Asics-UCI Invitational Kleinsasser, finished at the head of the pack with a first place finish on Saturday. The Occidental College freshman ran a 26:45.50 8K en route to leading the Tigers to a third place team finish.
