Kleinsasser Takes Home Runner of the Year Honors

CHINO, Calif. (Oct. 31, 2009) - Sophomore Eric Kleinsasser took home his third individual win of the season. This time the win also staked his claim as the top runner in the SCIAC, earning him Runner of the Year for the second consecutive season. Kleinsasser stepped it up in his final SCIAC meet, improving his time by almost a full minute from his Multi Dual mark.
As a freshman, Kleinsasser swept both SCIAC meets as well, leaving him undefeated in conference scoring events over the past two years. Sophomore Sebi Devlin-Foltz also had a strong showing, moving up from 5th at the SCIAC multi dual meet to 2nd highest finish on the team.
The Tigers will train for the next two weeks before competing at Pomona Pitzer on Saturday, Nov. 14 at the NCAA West Regionals.
