2012: Named Second-Team All-SCIAC...crossed the line at 25:46.7 at the NCAA National Championships, good for 115th overall (Nov. 17)...came in 18th place at the Pomona-Pitzer Cross Country Invitational (Sept. 29), crossing the line in 26:07.5...won his first SCIAC race (25:54.22) at the SCIAC Multi-Dual on Oct. 12...finished 12th (26:39.57) at the SCIAC Championships at Prado Park (Oct. 27)...

High School - Ran for the Del Sol High School dragons in both cross country and track under coach John Dixon. In 2010, Smith was the sunrise regional champion and runner-up at the Nevada State Track Meet in the 3200... placed 3rd in the 1600m at State... had a cummulative GPA of 3.85.

Personal - Smith was born and raised in Las Nevada Nevada... son of Gayle and Stan and younger brother to Galen... plans to major in Physics.
