LOS ANGELES —  The Tigers came up just short in their final home game of the season, falling 61-55 to the Whittier Poets in a Saturday evening SCIAC match-up.

Oxy was highlighted by Shariah Green who scored 12 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Madison Toy and Dru Ishibashi both added 9 points, while Triana Anderson contributed 8 points and 7 rebounds.  Grace Baranowski had four points, six rebounds and three assists.

Oxy celebrated the careers of seniors Dru Ishibashi, Triana Anderson, Grace Baranowski, Kendahl Wallis-Lang, and Midori McElwee.

Whittier's defense made life tough for the Tigers, holding Oxy to 55 points - shooting only 19 of 61 (31%) from the field. Cali Cubel and Emily Guerena led the Poets on offense with 13 and 15 points respectively. 

Season Impact: With two games remaining, the Tigers fall to 11-12 overall and 5-9 in conference play.
