LOS ANGELES — Oxy women's basketball player Triana Anderson was named First Team All-SCIAC on Thursday, capping an exceptional career with the Tigers.
This year the senior guard from San Francisco surpassed 1,000 career points, was second on the team in points per game at 12.9 and shot 46 percent from the field and 38 percent from beyond the 3-point line. She also averaged 4.3 rebounds per game and 1.2 steals per game in conference competition.
"Tri is very deserving of a first-team selection as she competed everyday and was hugely productive for us on the floor," Oxy head coach Anahit Aladzhanyan said. "It was an easy nomination on my end, and I was happy to see that my colleagues were on the same page in recognizing that Tri is a special player."
Anderson was named a Second Team All-SCIAC selection after the 2016-17 season.Follow Oxy Athletics on Twitter Sign Up for Newsletters Watch on Youtube Follow us on Instagram
