Inaugural season ends with the Black and Orange earning All-SCIAC recognition

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 5, 2010) Following the 2010 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference womens lacrosse season four members of the inaugural squad earned the respect of their conference rivals. Sarah Kessler, Isabel Osgood-Roach and Natalie Morison garnered Second Team honors while Shannon Docherty made the First Team.

POMONA, Calif. (April 28, 2010) Four days after the Black and Orange knocked off Pomona Pitzer on senior day, the Sagehens exacted some revenge, defeating the Tigers in the opening round of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament by the final score of 16-12.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (April 24, 2010) For three years three senior students came out to practice and play lacrosse for the Occidental College club team because they loved it. This year, those seniors teamed up with 15 other student-athletes to play on the inaugural varsity womens lacrosse team in the spring of 2010. Today, all the hard work paid off as on the final day of the regular season the Tigers earned their first Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory with a commanding 16-9 win on D.W. Patterson Field over the visiting Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (April 21, 2010) The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference leading Athenas picked up another win tonight, this time at the expense of the young Tigers. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps built a huge lead and didnt look back, winning by the final score of 20-6.
WHITTIER, Calif. (April 14, 2010) The Tigers played a sensational game, coming within seconds of the programs first Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory, as they held a 14-13 lead with just under two minutes left in regulation. The scoreboard had just 32 seconds between Oxy and the victory, but thats when Whittier College found the back of the net. It then took the Poets almost two overtime periods to knock off the Black and Orange, by the final score of 15-14.
CLAREMONT, Calif. (April 10, 2010) Oxy traveled to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps to go head to head with the conference leading Athenas. Although the Tigers have made great strides this year, the gap between these two programs was obvious this afternoon, as the Black and Orange fell by the final score of 23-3.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (April 3, 2010) In a rematch of the season opener, the Black and Orange came out ready for the Bulldogs, after suffering a humbling 18-3 defeat in the first game of the season the Tigers took the field a different team this afternoon. After what started out much like the first game, with the University of Redlands jumping out to a 7-1 lead, the Tigers came alive and showed how far they have come, playing the Maroon and Gray almost even the rest of the way, falling by a final score of 21-15.
