Kang Named to All-West Region Team

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Dec. 1, 2008) Occidental College had three womens soccer players land on the All-SCIAC teams in 2008. Earning First Team honors was junior Marci Kang while the sophomore-freshman duo of Season Falkler-Rodriguez and Alex McHenry garnered Second Team recognition.
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (Nov. 1, 2008) On the final day of the 2008 regular season both the mens and womens soccer teams suffered season ending defeats to Cal Lutheran University with the men falling by a score of 5-2 on the road while the Tigers women were shutout 1-0 on Patterson Field in their final home game of the year.
CLAREMONT, Calif. (Oct. 29, 2008) Unable to score for the second consecutive game, the Occidental College Tigers were shut-out by the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Athenas 1-0 in Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play crushing the Tigers hopes of advancing to the SCIAC Post Season Tournament.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Oct. 22, 2008) Maddy Rasch timed her first collegiate goal perfectly as she sank the winning goal in the Tigers ever so slim 1-0 victory over Pomona-Pitzer today.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Oct. 18, 2008) Coming off a disappointing loss to SCIAC foe La Verne, the Tigers were able to re-group and defeat Macalester College 2-1 on the Lower Soccer Field today.
WHITTIER, Calif. (Oct. 11, 2008) In their second and final meeting of the season the Occidental College Tigers defeated the Whittier College Poets 4-0, marking the second shut out in as many meetings during Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play this season, outscoring WC 9-0.
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (Oct. 8, 2008) Coming off a pair of 1-0 victories over tough SCIAC opponents, the Occidental College womens soccer team was unable put a three-game win streak together as they fell on the road to Cal Lutheran by a 2-0 margin.
