On the Courts

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Jan. 31, 2008) – The women’s tennis team that is # 12 in the region returns junior two-time All-SCIAC Second Team selection Jennifer Wahba and senior Alayna Santos. This duo is currently ranked # 14 in the region in doubles play entering the 2008 season. Also returning are Taylor Kaplan, Lauren Harris and Marissa Cassman, who all saw significant action last spring.

A year ago the Tigers claimed their third consecutive fourth-place SCIAC finish. With the additions of  five freshmen players, the squad in 2008 looks to improve their play on the court and be competitive in the SCIAC. 

Head Coach Linda Park is optimistic about the upcoming season. “With continued commitment and focus, this team has the ability to improve both its conference and regional standings.”
