Oxy Takes Fifth at SCIAC Women’s Tennis Tournament
REDLANDS, Calif. (April 19, 2008) – The culmination of the 2008 women’s tennis season saw the Tigers battling with #6 California Lutheran University in the Final Round of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament hosted by the University of Redlands. Oxy was victorious 5-4 over the Regals today.

REDLANDS, Calif. (April 18, 008) – The 2008 women’s tennis team played in day one of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament today hosted by the University of Redlands. The Tigers fell in the opening round, but bounced back with a Second Round win in the afternoon.
LA CANADA, Calif. (April 4, 2008) – In Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play today at the Flint Canyon Tennis Club Occidental College defeated Whittier College 9-0 on the courts to jump over the .500 mark for conference play.
FULLERTON, Calif. (March 27, 2008) – For the second time this season the Occidental College women’s tennis team defeated Hope International University. In a match, rescheduled from March 6, the Tigers were victorious by a 7-2 margin on the courts at Cal State Fullerton.
Pasadena, Calif. ( March 19, 2008) – Occidental College women’s tennis took on the Salisbury University Seagulls Wednesday, coming off a 5-4 loss to Colorado College over the weekend. While the Tigers’ hard work tallied two wins in singles, Salisbury’s edge Occidental in doubles play, resulting in a 7-2 loss for Oxy.

(Feb. 9, 2008) – Coming off a season opening 5-4 victory over non-conference Hope International, the Occidental College women’s tennis team continued their winning ways with an 8-1 victory over Cal Lutheran University in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opener today at the Burbank Tennis Center.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Feb. 7, 2008) – The day could not have been more beautiful and the outcome was just what the Occidental College Tigers had hoped for as they defeated Hope International University 5-4 at the McKinnon Family Tennis Center on the campus of Occidental College today.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Feb. 3, 2008) – Occidental women’s tennis players stepped on the court for the first time this season on Friday and Saturday at the Cal State Los Angeles Invitational. Although the final day of competition was cancelled due to rain, the Tigers were glad to be back in action.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Jan. 31, 2008) – The women’s tennis team that is # 12 in the region returns junior two-time All-SCIAC Second Team selection Jennifer Wahba and senior Alayna Santos. This duo is currently ranked # 14 in the region in doubles play entering the 2008 season. Also returning are Taylor Kaplan, Lauren Harris and Marissa Cassman, who all saw significant action last spring.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Oct. 20, 2007) – This afternoon the Occidental Women’s Tennis program hosted a Doubles Round Robin fundraiser on the recently renovated and newly named McKinnon Family Tennis Center.
