Panthers get the most of Tigers

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (October 13, 2007) - Occidental College volleyball dropped today's non-conference match with Chapman by scores of 30-16, 30-19 and 30-16 in Rush Gymnasium.

Emily Wagner and Sonia Huizar each finished with six kills and 15 and 14 digs respectively. Ashley Rosenbaum added three kills and a solo block. Huizar led all players with a pair of solo blocks.

Jill Felger tallied 16 kills, Linda Ly had 17 digs and Kat Kowalski set the ball 32 times in the match. All three figures led all players.

The Tigers record falls to 5-9, 2-6 SCIAC as the Panthers improve to 11-7.

Occidental will host the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens at Rush Gymnasium on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
