(Oct. 18, 2007) - Carla Christofferson and Kathy Goodman, co-owners of the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks, will be the guest speakers at the fifth annual Celebration of Women in Sports dinner honoring the 1987 NCAA runner-up women’s tennis team and the 1992 NCAA 4th-place women’s track & field team. The theme of this year’s event is “A Celebration of Excellence.” It will be held at Branca Patio at the Johnson Student Center on Friday, Nov. 2 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

ORANGE, Calif. (September 12, 2007) - A night after opening play in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with a 3-0 loss to defending SCIAC Champion La Verne, the Tigers were again shut out. Chapman University handed Oxy a 3-0 loss at the Hutton Sports Center tonight.
