Merritt Leads Tiger Women to SCIAC Multi Dual Title

LA MIRADA, Calif. (Oct. 17, 2009) - Freshman Phoebe Merritt led the women's cross country team to their first team title of the season at the SCIAC Multi Dual at La Mirada Park.  Merritt continued her streak as the No. 1 runner for the Tigers as she finished fourth overall with a time of 23:05.27. The freshman has been Oxy's top finisher in every meet this season.

Sophomore Sadie Mohler (6^th, 23:31.47) and senior Grace Peck (9th, 23:47.17) also finished in the top 10. 

The Tigers will train for the next two weeks before competing in Prado Park on Saturday, Oct. 31 at the SCIAC Championships.
