Cross Country teams give back
COMPTON, Calif. – Last fall the members of the men’s and women’s cross country teams brainstormed ideas for a Community Service project. The ultimate vote went to Tree People, an environmental non-profit organization that unites the power of trees, people and technology to grow a sustainable future for Los Angeles.

NEW ORLEANS, La. (Feb. 14, 2010) – Eliza Dornbush and Sadie Mohler represented the Occidental College women’s cross country team on the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team announced today.

Women run to seventh in region; trio of Tigers earn All West Region
SALEM, Ore. (Nov. 13, 2010) – After a night of light rain and the men’s race, the women’s cross country team lined up at the start beneath a cloud laden, but dry sky to race in the 2010 Division III West Regionals at Busch Pasture Park next to the campus of Willamette University. The squad moved up in their regional rankings, finishing seventh among the 17 teams competing.

SALEM, Ore. (Nov. 12, 2010) – The Occidental College men’s and women’s cross country teams packed their bags and set flight to the Pacific Northwest where the Tigers will compete in the Division III West Regionals tomorrow morning against the best in the West.

CHINO, Calif. (Oct. 30, 2010) – Under sunny skies on a muddy course this morning at Prado Park, the Occidental College women’s cross country team placed fourth at the 2010 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship meet.

Tigers run to three victories at SCIAC Multi-Duals
LA MIRADA, Calif. (Oct. 16, 2010) – In the first Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women’s cross country race of the year, the Tigers came away with three victories, defeating Cal Lutheran University, Caltech and the University of La Verne.

Tigers set to run in 2010

(Sept. 9, 2010) – Another training camp is gone and the season opener is on the horizon for the women’s cross country team, who enters the season ranked No. 33 in the nation and No. 3 in the West Region as announced last month by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

NEW ORLEANS, La. (Sept. 1, 2010) – A few weeks ago the women’s cross country team was labeled as the No. 3 team in the West Region. Today, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released the National pre-season poll, which ranked the Tigers No. 33 among more than 400 schools across the country.

NEW ORLEANS, La. (Aug. 18, 2010) – In the 2010 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll released last week, the Occidental College women’s cross country team landed as the third ranked team in the West Region entering the season.
