CLAREMONT, Calif. (Oct. 2, 2010) – Meghan Whalen turned in another solid performance as she led the Tigers' pack today at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational, which saw runners from Division I, II, III and independent runners this morning.

As the first Oxy finisher, Whalen, completed the 6K in 23:29.3 behind a trio of Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference runners. Anne Lydens from Pomona-Pitzer was the second overall finisher and the top league runner.

Sadie Mohler was the second Tiger home in a time of 24:16.0 followed closely by Anna Dalton (24:22.9). Eliza Dornbush ran right on their heels, crossing the line in 24:35.3 as the final Tiger to run a sub-25 minute race.

Nearly breaking that 25-minute mark were both Sally Landfeld and Deanna Dupuy who came across in 25:00.1 and 25:00.9, respectively.

Other racers for Oxy today were Sierra Walker, Casey Warendorf, Becca Tribelhorn, Kassy Griswold, Lydia Harmon, Hailey Mayer, Lila Singer-Berk and Linnea Dewees.
