    SIX RUNNERS EARN ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICAN HONORS NEW ORLEANS — Six Occidental College cross country runners — three men and three women — were named USTFCCCA Academic All-Americans on Friday for maintaining cumulative grade point averages of 3.4 or better while competing during the 2011 season.

Oxy's top five finishers combined for 89 points, just seven behind the Poets 82.
