LOS ANGELES — Bailey Stevens continued her impressive year and career, adding another homer.
But the Occidental women's softball team fell short in its upset bid against Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday.
The Tigers fell 11-0 in Game 1 and 12-6 in Game 2.
Stevens, a senior first baseman and catcher, hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the fourth to help cut the Sagehens' lead to 7-6. She finished the game 3 for 4 with three RBIs and two runs scored.
The Tigers were unable to add any more runs and Pomona-Pitzer extended its lead.
