Ramlochan Posts Doubled Double Against Redlands

LOS ANGELES — The Tigers were narrowly beaten in Wednesday night's SCIAC matchup against the Redlands Bulldogs by a score of 52-46. Oxy battled hard in the back and forth game, cutting the lead to as little as three points with less than 1 minute remaining in the game.

Raveena Dhiman gave the Tigers a boost off the bench scoring 13 points in the game, including 11 in the first half. Alyssa Ramlochan turned in another solid performance. She dominated the boards, pulling down 14 rebounds and scoring a team high 14 points. 

Junior forward Emily Leonard played a stellar defensive game, recording nine rebounds, six blocks and a steal. Taylor Yoshida added 10 points, two assists, and a steal. 

Season Impact: Oxy falls to 1-7 in the SCIAC and 7-10 overall. Redlands moves to 3-5 in conference and 6-11 overall.

Next Game: Oxy travels to La Verne next Wednesday to take on the Leopards in their next SCIAC matchup.
