CLAREMONT — In his first races of the year, returning All-American sophomore Jeh Johnson opened his season with an 11.26 in the 100 and a 22.56 in the 200, both much faster times than where he was at this time last year.
Noah Winnick had a great day for the throwers, tossing a lifetime best in the javelin at 155'2".
In the pole vault, sophomore Stephen Nemeth almost tied his personal record with a mark of 13'5.25.
Isabelle Dunne was the highlight for the women, running her first ever 400 hurdles in 65.54, putting her seventh all-time on Oxy's top 10 list for the event.
The Oxy distance runners did not compete at the meet, preparing instead for this weekend.
