2011: As a sophomore, Gann had a total of 273 kills, and 124 digs in the 34 overall matches she played in. She had a high of 22 kills in an early match against St. Thomas (Minn., Sep 17).

2010: As a freshman outside hitter, Gann was fifth in SCIAC in kills with an average of 4 per set. She was second on her team in kills, with a total of 374. She was awarded SCIAC Freshman of the year, Second-Team All-SCIAC, and AVCA All West Region Honerable mention team.

High School: Stephanie Gann played four years of varsity volleyball at Annie Wright School in Tacoma, Washington. She earned two coach’s awards, M.V.P., and most improved player throughout her high school career. She made the First Team All League her sophomore, junior, and senior years. Senior year, Gann was honored as the League M.V.P. and made the First Team All State. Junior and senior year, Gann was team captain for both her club and school teams. For the past two years she has been nominated as Athlete of the Month. Gann also made the Regional High Performance Team in the summer of 2008 and 2009 where she competed at international tournaments held in Tucson, Arizona. She played club ball for Angela Spoja’s Edge U18’s.

Personal: Gann was born in Monterey, California on September 4th, 1992. She has an older sister, Sarah Gann, who attends St. Martin’s University in Lacey, Washington. Gann says the thing she loves most about volleyball is the intensity of the competition during games, and the friendships she builds with her teammates. Her biggest athletic thrill was at the State Qualifier tournament where her school team beat the defending state champs not just in games, but also in determination and passion. Her favorite TV shows include “Grey’s Anatomy” and “The Office”. Her favorite food is bread and butter. Her major is undecided but she is very interested in international relations.

A: It felt "right." I could see myself going to Oxy. I loved the vibe of the students.
