CLAREMONT — Despite being a little shorthanded, a number of Occidental women's cross country runners improved their 4k cross country personal records in the first competition of the season at No. 8 Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday.
Junior Kayla Lim was Oxy's No. 1, coming off of a breakout track season last spring.
"We were really happy with the way the women's team competed today," Oxy head coach Rob Bartlett said. "Our focus and attitude were excellent."
Next Race: Oxy has two weeks before its next meet at UC Riverside on Sept. 14.
